BUET Alumni ASSOCIATION OF CALGARY

We are proud graduates of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), currently residing in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. BUET is one of the most prestigious engineering institutions in Bangladesh, known for its rich history of academic excellence and innovation.

Founded in 1947 as Ahsanullah Engineering College, it evolved into East Pakistan University of Engineering & Technology in 1962, maintaining close academic ties with Texas A&M University. Following Bangladesh’s War of Liberation, the institution was renamed BUET, continuing its legacy of producing world-class engineers, architects, and urban planners who contribute their expertise across the globe.

This platform has been created to bring together BUET graduates in Calgary, fostering networking, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing within our vibrant community.
